A collaboration model between the iconic sci-fi anime "Ghost in the Shell" SAC_2045 and SPINGLE. Inspired by the keyword 'Sustainable War' from the series, the theme is set as 'Sustainable Walk.' It envisions SPINGLE sneakers in the year 2045, designed using sustainable materials.
SP-SAC_2045-A is a model envisioning the future SP-442. To express a cyberpunk aesthetic, it features a melange purple base accented with orange highlights. Its futuristic design and form draw inspiration from the protagonist Motoko Kusanagi's in-story costume.
'Sustainable Walk' represents the shared evolution of technology and humanity. Reflecting this concept, the upper employs a knit material that eliminates cutting waste during production. It achieves both a flexible fit and environmental consideration.
SPINGLE’s iconic wave pattern is featured on the sides, where the leather panel is cut and printed with a wave pattern. The triangular logo, symbolizing the SAC_2045 version of Motoko Kusanagi's cybernetic body design, and the SPINGLE logo are embossed as distinct icons. An embossed SPINGLE logo also adorns the front instep. The fit can be adjusted using drawcords.
Furthermore, the outsole incorporates the SPINGLE developed 'RUBEAR CNF Sole' which uses a blend of cellulose nanofiber, achieving approximately 40% improved abrasion resistance compared to conventional soles. This model is manufactured using the vulcanization method, which bonds the upper and sole together using heat and pressure.
"Ghost in the Shell" remains an enduring symbol of Japanese animation that continues to influence the world, embodying the very essence of Japan Beauty in the modern era. This special collaboration model fuses SPINGLE's master craftsmanship, technical material expertise, and futuristic vision.
