Only a handful of factories in Japan are certified by GORE-TEX. Among these, this she meets all material standards and has passed GORE's rigorous testing as a finished product, making it a truly valuable pair. A subtle contrast of a single gray line on the foxing tape against a black base has been paired with antique-textured black eyelets for a cool impression. GORE-TEX is a high-performance fabric developed by WL Gore & Associates in the United States. Its defining feature is the combination of waterproofing, breathability, and windproofing. It is a high-performance material created by laminating a membrane made from the fluoropolymer “ePTFE (expanded polytetrafluoroethylene)” to an outer and inner layer.
