A “New SPINGLE” is born, featuring a sporty vibe and a voluminous silhouette! This highly anticipated model was developed from scratch as a new line in response to user demand for unparalleled lightness beyond its appearance—something we could not express through our specialty vulcanizing process—along with the shock absorption and cushioning unique to thick soles. The upper design, inspired by the classic SP-110 model, retains its iconic look while achieving a contemporary, voluminous finish. Featuring kangaroo leather as its signature material, this low-cut style boasts a premium, soft, enveloping hold. Its thick sole incorporates lightweight, highly cushioned EVA in the midsole. The outsole adopts the No.8 sole design with SPINGLE's iconic wave pattern, echoing the classic design reminiscent of a rolled-up sole. The overall look creates a dynamic, playful impression with its undulating wave-like effect. The tongue features the brand logo, while the padded collar gently holds your heel and ankle. Usual shoe size: 27.0 cm (US M 9 / EU 42.5)
I wear a 27.0 cm in the Nike Air Force 1, but I chose 26.5 cm (size L) in Spingle.
Spingle feels softer underfoot than the Air Force 1. In my case, a 26.5 cm Air Force 1 feels a little tight near the base of my big toe, so I size up to 27.0 cm. In Spingle, 26.5 cm (size L) is comfortable as is.
If you usually wear a 27.0 cm to 27.5 cm in the Air Force 1, size L (26.5 cm) is where I'd start in Spingle.
Take
Usual shoe size: 26.5 cm (US M 8.5 / EU 42)
I wear a 26.5 cm in the Adidas Samba, and I chose the same 26.5 cm (size L) in Spingle.
The two are close in size, and the fit carries over almost exactly. The leather molds to your foot as you wear it, so Spingle feels good from the first step and only gets better from there.
If you usually wear a 26.0 cm to 26.5 cm in the Samba, size L (26.5 cm) should feel right in Spingle.
Kota
Usual shoe size: 26 cm (US M 8 / EU 41)
My foot width is average, and I usually wear size L. From the first wear, it holds the whole foot snugly, but never feels tight. As the leather molds to your foot, the fit only improves, and it stays comfortable through long days on your feet.
Shohei
Usual shoe size: 28 cm (US M 10 / EU 44)
My foot is on the wider side. If I pick my size by length alone, the laces splay open, so I go up one size. Laced snugly, they fit comfortably.

The SP-1908 brings Spingle's craftsmanship to a light, thick sole. The kangaroo-leather upper keeps the contact Spingle is known for; the thick sole adds cushion and stays light. It is built on the SP-110, one of our most popular shoes.
A thick sole that softens the ground underfoot.
The thick sole and the low-rebound footbed cushion you from the ground, so you barely feel it underfoot. We worked the EVA outsole and the footbed so each step forward gives back a little cushion and spring. Feel it for yourself.

The upper is built on the SP-110, our signature staple, made for the way it meets the foot. Kangaroo leather is soft, light, and tough at once. This is what a Japanese sneaker maker does when it cares about how a shoe feels.

We have built shoes in Fuchu City, Hiroshima since 1933, adjusting the last and pattern to fit the Japanese foot. That feel is what a Japanese sneaker maker can offer, and the outsole can be repaired, so it stays with you for years. A serious pair you'll still reach for every day, made in Fuchu.

I wear a 24.5 cm in the Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66, and I chose the same 24.5 cm (size S) in Spingle.
The two run close in size, so there's no real difference to note. Spingle feels good from the first step, and the leather molds to your foot the more you wear it. If you usually wear a 24.0 cm to 24.5 cm in the Mexico 66, size S (24.5 cm) is a good place to start in Spingle.
